A number of matters under the Gambling Act are administered by the Gambling Commission and not the local authority. Halton Borough Council is required to prepare and publish a statement of Gambling Policy (“the statement”) they propose to apply in exercising their functions under the Gambling Act 2005. You can apply online for licence permits.
